INDUSTRY CODES PRACTICE/BEST PRACTICE
An industry Code of Practice sets out the health and safety standards or benchmarks specific to that industry. An industry code of practice is designed to complement legislation by providing practical solutions to risk issues. Providing the Code meets the requirements outlined as shown in this link the Minister can approved Industry Codes of Practice under Section 57 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1984.
